Student Ministry Special Events

During the school year a number of special events, retreats, trips, and training opportunities are provided for students to take advantage of. These events change and vary year to year to meet the specific needs of outreach, service, and community building.

CDYC (Central District Youth Conference)
Each summer, CDYC becomes a major event in the lives of our students. Nearly 600 Jr. high students attend the Jr. high conference and 800 Sr. high students attend the Sr. high conference. Each year students participate in sports, talent, and service opportunities that challenge them in their spiritual growth.

Area 51 Youth Activities
Periodically the youth group is involved in a number of ministy and fellowship opportunities throughout the school year.

Student Missions Trips
Opportunity is given for students to participate in ministry and outreach trips in the U.S. as well as overseas.

Area 51 “Twilight Zone”
After “Alien Nation” on Sunday nights students are occasionally provided a setting to participate in various fellowship and outreach opportunities.
